Impact Stories

Positive experiences..

“TOG has had a great effect on me. I feel like TOG has brought out a side of me that I love to see. I remember the first time I went to the studio. I enjoyed this moment. I don’t have a favorite experience because I think that all my experiences I have enjoyed. I would say TOG is where you want to be”.

True engagement from the youth...

“TOG is the first program I have seen that our youth actually WANT to participate in. There are so many kids that express themselves through creativity, and TOG is the outlet they need to feel seen and heard. Positive role models are essential in supporting our youth to become productive and law-abiding citizens, and TOG has provided mentorship for our youth that they may not have had otherwise. Because Ms. Samantha volunteers in the detention center, she has already developed a trust and rapport with many of the youth, and they are excited to continue working with TOG when they return to the community”.
