WHO WE ARE
Our Story
The Journey
Talents of Our Generation, Inc. (TOG) was founded in 2012 in Brooklyn, NY, to provide inner-city youth with a platform to express their talents in the performing arts while equipping them with resources for success. Over the years, TOG organized talent showcases, performed at hospitals, and embarked on a mission trip to Haiti.
In 2019, TOG expanded to Atlanta, GA, serving youth in juvenile detention through the arts. Witnessing a cycle of reentry, TOG recognized the need for community-based programs to support reintegration. By 2020, TOG expanded its mission to focus on justice-impacted youth, offering creative arts, mentorship, life skills training, and essential resources to reduce recidivism and empower them toward a brighter future.
Talents of Our Generation, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that focuses on working with youth who have been impacted by the Juvenile Justice System by providing mentorship, art and life skill classes, as well as, equipping them with resources needed to succeed in efforts to decrease recidivism and remain on the path to a brighter future.
